Sweep & Suction is a floor-care site for the value buyer — someone who suspects the flagship is better and wants to know whether it is better enough to justify the difference. We answer that from published specifications and arithmetic, not from a test lab, because we do not have one.
Who writes this
Scooter M. writes this site. Here is the honest version of that, which is shorter than most about pages and considerably less flattering:
There are no credentials on this site because there are none to claim. Nobody here is a certified anything. There is no expert panel, no team of testers, no engineers, and no lab. Any site telling you it has all four and also happens to have opinions about mid-range vacuums is worth a second look.
What we claim, and what we refuse to claim

Why the honesty is the product
This is a genuinely competitive category and the publishers ranking above us are, mostly, doing real work — buying units, running studios, measuring things. We cannot match that and pretending to would be both dishonest and trivially falsifiable.
But not one of them answers the question that actually decides a budget purchase: what does the extra money buy? That question is answerable from documents anyone can read, and doing it carefully turns out to be genuinely useful. The three-year running-cost tables and the value-delta comparisons on this site are original work, they are reproducible, and as far as we can find nobody else in this niche publishes them.
So the limitation and the product are the same thing. We tell you what we do not know, which is exactly what lets you trust what we do.
What we will never do
- Invent a testing claim. No "in our testing", no "after weeks of use", no "our lab".
- Invent a price. Prices come from a live lookup or the page says "Check price". There is no code path here that could display a remembered number.
- Publish a review or a star rating we did not produce. There are no testimonials on this site and no aggregate ratings, because we have no customers and no test data.
- Emit a rating as structured data. Our editorial scores stay on the page as content and never enter the JSON-LD. Marking an opinion up as a product review rating would contradict everything above.
- Let commission set the order. Commission scales with price, so cheaper recommendations earn us less. That is the honest shape of the conflict, and the editorial policy states the containment.
If we get something wrong
Tell us. Every figure on this site is traceable to a document, which means every mistake is findable. If a specification here does not match what the manufacturer publishes, we will correct it and log the correction publicly on the editorial policy page.
There is one contact address and it is on the contact page. It is a real inbox and it is the only one on the site.

Scooter M., an enthusiast who reads the manuals, compiles the published specifications and does the arithmetic on running costs. No credentials, no lab, and no claim to either.
Do you test the products?
No. We say so on every page that recommends anything. What we do instead is compile published specifications from primary sources, compute three-year running costs, and state the delta against the flagship in plain arithmetic.
How do you make money?

Why are there no reviews or testimonials on this site?
Because we have no customers and no test data, so any review or star rating here would be fabricated. A clean page with no testimonials is the correct output, not a missing feature.
