The short answer: the iRobot Roomba 105 Vac. LiDAR mapping, keep-out zones, 200 minutes of rated runtime — the longest published on this site — and recharge-and-resume, from the manufacturer with the strongest record of keeping its app alive. That last point is not a specification and it is the biggest risk in this category.
What this ceiling buys, and what it does not
It buys mapping. Under about $150 you get a bump-and-run robot. Between $150 and $300 you get LiDAR, a floor plan, no-go zones, room targeting and recharge-and-resume — the features that change a robot from a device that wanders into one you can instruct.
It does not buy a dock. Self-emptying starts above this ceiling, and the whole point of a hard ceiling is that we do not smuggle a $340 machine onto a $300 page. If the dock is what you want, we price it out here and it is a genuinely good feature — it is just above this line.
What we looked at
Navigation, weighted heaviest — it is the only feature that changes the class of machine.
Published runtime, and the mode it was measured in. Tikom's 150 minutes is explicitly quiet mode.
On-board bin, which matters far more without a dock.

The one to skip
Skip the Lefant M210 if you have carpet. Its brushless suction port is the only complete answer anyone offers to hair tangle — there is nothing for hair to wrap around — and at 52 dB and 2.99 inches tall it is excellent on hard floor. But no brushroll means no agitation by construction, so on carpet it lifts surface fluff and leaves the embedded grit. That is a design characteristic, not a firmware limitation, and no update will change it.

The gap is genuinely one feature: the dock. Everything else at this ceiling is equal or better — bigger bins, lower noise, and no bag bill. Whether the dock is worth crossing the line for depends almost entirely on whether a pet lives with you, because that is what determines how often the on-board bin fills.
The unpriced risk at every ceiling
Every mapped robot here depends on its manufacturer's cloud service for the map, the zones and the schedule. If that service is retired, a mapped robot does not become a simpler robot — it becomes a bump-and-run machine that has lost the feature you paid most for.
There is no published figure for this and there never will be. iRobot has the longest track record of app support across product generations, which is a real reason to weight it above a machine with a better sheet. And the eufy 11S MAX avoids the question entirely: eufy publishes no Wi-Fi and no app at all.
What we cannot tell you
How well any of these navigate a real home. Published LiDAR is not the same as good path planning, nobody publishes a coverage-efficiency figure or a stuck-rate, and we have not run any of these machines. We can compare what each manufacturer discloses, which eliminates the wrong answers without pretending to be a test result.

Because mapped robots are designed expecting a dock to empty into, so their on-board bin is a buffer rather than a container. The cheap eufy 11S MAX publishes 600 ml; the mapped Roborock Q7 L5 publishes 270 ml.
